A Message from Our Principal
It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year! Here, at Myers Corners Elementary School, we strive to support and inspire our students to achieve the highest levels of academic success. We accomplish this through creating a safe, warm and caring environment where our students have the opportunity to explore, create, investigate and reach their highest potential. This can only be accomplished through collaboration between all members of our school community. At Myers we value family engagement, especially by helping our students with homework, attending meetings and functions at school and communicating with teachers on a regular basis. As your principal, I welcome your input and participation to continue to make the programs at Myers engaging and meaningful for all.
Our students' futures depend on them having positive experiences and overcoming challenges while in school. My hope for all Myers students is that they will be strong, independent thinkers who take an active role in their learning and growth academically, socially and emotionally. With rigorous instruction and continuous professional development, our teachers will continue to provide students with challenging and supportive learning opportunities.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns at 298-5260 or by e-mail at sydnie.goldstein@wcsdny.org Let’s make this an incredible year for all of our Myers Tigers!
Warm Regards,
Principal Sydnie Goldstein
